Competition Rules 

Win a brunch for two at Le Pain Quotidien  

1. Organization of the competition   

This competition titled " Win a brunch for two at Le Pain Quotidien " (hereinafter referred to as the "Competition") is organised by PQ Belgium, with registered office at Havenlaan 86C, 103B BE-1000 Brussels and having company number 0810.307.316 (hereinafter referred to as "Le Pain Quotidien").  

Participation in the Competition via the link means that the participant has read, understood and unconditionally accepted the provisions of these Competition rules (hereinafter referred to as the "Rules"). The participant may consult these Rules at https://www.lepainquotidien.com/be/en/tiktok-competition/. A written copy of the Rules may also be obtained by written request addressed to PQ Belgium (Havenlaan 86C, 103B BE-1000 Brussels).  

 

2. Period 

The Competition lasts from 14/09/2023 to 28/09/2023, which is the participation deadline.  

Le Pain Quotidien reserves the right to extend or shorten this period or to suspend the Competition if a situation of force majeure occurs or for any reason beyond the control of Le Pain Quotidien. Le Pain Quotidien will inform Participants of this as soon as possible.  

 

3. Who can participate? 

Participation in the Competition is open to all residents of Belgium, who have reached at least the age of 18 at the time of participation. 

Minors may participate in the Competition with the prior written consent of their legal representative. 

Only entry forms fully completed and received before the end of the Competition will be considered.  

Le Pain Quotidien reserves the right to exclude a participant from the Competition in case of incompleteness, incorrectness or falsity of the personal and other data communicated, any violation of the present Rules or any (attempted) fraud in this Competition or other competitions (co-)organized by Le Pain Quotidien. 

In any event, organized and/or collective (automated or non-automated) participation in the Competition shall be considered fraud, as well as any (attempted) modification of the Competition facilities, by any process whatsoever (automated or non-automated), with a view to influencing the result and the designation of the winner, and will therefore automatically lead to exclusion from this Competition. 

 

4. Competition procedure 

Participation in the Competition is done electronically via the link visible on the Tiktok post on Le Pain Quotidien HQ Tiktok account (@lepainquotidienhq). Participation is completely free and with no purchase obligation. 

To participate in the Competition, the participant must: 

• Play a game to catch the most items in a basket in a limited time (30 seconds). Each item collected counts for 1 point. 

• Answer the tie breaker question: "How many people will have participated in this Competition on 28/09/2023 at 23:59?" 

• Complete the form. 

Each participant can participate in the Competition only once. 

 

5. Prize 

One participant will win a brunch for two worth €47.90.  

The prize is only valid in the following Le Pain Quotidien restaurants: Le Pain Quotidien Antwerpen Centrum, Antwerpen De Wael, Antwerpen Graanmarkt, Antwerpen Kievit, Brugge Simon Stevin, Charleroi, Dansaert, Galerie de la Reine, Gent Korenmarkt, Ixelles, Knokke, Lepoutre, Leuven, Liège, Louise, Maasmechelen, Mechelen, Overijse, Sablon, Stockel, Tongres, Tour & Taxis, Waterloo, Wavre, Wemmel. The prize can only be used once.   

The prize must be used before 31/12/2023. 

The prize is personal and non-transferable. The participant is not entitled to exchange the prize, whether in cash or in kind. Failure to accept the prize, for whatever reason, will not result in the award of any financial or other consideration. 

The participant who has the highest score in the game and answered the tie breaker question correctly or closest will be selected as the winner of the Competition. 

The winner will be contacted personally by Le Pain Quotidien on the email provided by the participant and will receive the voucher containing a unique code to redeem the prize. 

 

6. General 

There shall be no correspondence (letters, e-mails and/or telephone calls) regarding the Rules, the organization and/or the binding and irrevocable results of the Competition. All additional announcements relating to the Competition are considered part of the Rules. 

Except in cases of fraud or gross negligence, Le Pain Quotidien shall never be liable for or obliged to compensate any damage, direct or indirect, resulting from participation in the Competition, the award of the prize and/or the consequences of acceptance of the prize. 

Nor shall Le Pain Quotidien be liable for any inability to participate in the Competition or any non-continuous or interrupted running of the Competition, due to technical problems or otherwise. 

Le Pain Quotidien cannot be held liable if, due to force majeure or any other reason beyond the control of Le Pain Quotidien, the Competition is modified, the duration of the Competition is changed or if the Competition is cancelled. 

The winner of the Competition authorizes Le Pain Quotidien to reproduce and publish photos of him and/or his winning answers, without territorial or time restrictions, for the communication around the Competition or for the promotion of Le Pain Quotidien, without any compensation being due. 

Participation in the Competition implies the processing of the Participant's personal data. The contact details communicated by participants to Le Pain Quotidien will be used exclusively to inform the participant about the course of the Competition and to contact them, if necessary, with a view to handing over the prize.   

This processing takes place in accordance with Le Pain Quotidien's privacy and cookie policy. If the participant would like more information regarding Le Pain Quotidien's privacy policy, he or she may contact Le Pain Quotidien via e-mail feedback@lepainquotidien.be or consult it on the website (https://www.lepainquotidien.com/be/en/privacy-policy/). 

Each participant has the right to access, rectify, supplement, delete or block all personal data provided to Le Pain Quotidien as well as, in certain cases, the right to object to the processing or request the transfer of personal data. This request should be addressed to Le Pain Quotidien at the e-mail address feedback@lepainquotidien.be accompanied by a copy of the front of the identity card of the person making the request. 

Any inaccuracies, misprints, misspellings or other similar errors cannot be held against Le Pain Quotidien nor create any obligation for Le Pain Quotidien. 

Le Pain Quotidien reserves the right to amend the provisions of the Rules at any time.
